Medicinal Herb Walk

Description

Start 10am from the Spring Lane car park/picnic area. Join Anke, the Gedling Herbalist, for an informative stroll around Gedling Country Park to learn how local plants can be used for health. We will talk about the past and present uses, from anecdotes to modern research. The walk will take us to the ponds near the Lambley Lane entrance along parts of the blue and green routes and back.

The terrain may be uneven and muddy in places and there are some inclines. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear and be prepared for adverse weather conditions.

The walk is limited to 8 people, pre-booking required. We can't accept cancellations, but you may re-sell your ticket if you are unable to attend.
